Est. 1-31-28 Thirty Players In Golf Tournament Eighteen men and twelve women 'took part in the Tryon Country club flag tournament last week end. Mrs. L. F. Brigham was first in the women’s division fol lowed closely by Mrs. Baxter Haynes. Both players ended up on the 10th fairway in the nine hole competition. In the men's division Baxter Haynes won first place end ing upon the 20th fairway in the 1.8 hole competition. C. H. Helms was in second place ending upon the 19th green. Those taking part in the ladies’ flag tournament were Miss Mary Crapo, Mrs. Baxter Haynes, Miss Hope Washburn, Mrs. Wm. Conant, Miss. M. B. Flynn, Miss Isabel DuCharme, Mrs. Bryant W.
