Tryon Country Club A two-ball mixed foursome event is planned for Friday, Bth, starting at 3 p. m. r ine tourna ment committee wants this to be the outstanding event of the sea son for both residents and visitors, but is handicapped at the start by not knowing all of those who might wish to enter. We, therefore, ask your cooperation, whether you be resident or visitor. Please call Larry Brooks at the Country club and tell him that you will play. If you call him before Wednesday evening it will make the job much easier for those who select the pairings. We will try to make it “All Even" by putting good players with poor ones and poor players with good ones. So come out and enjoy the game. An entry fee of 15c per person will be charged and this goes into the “Tea Pot” from which will come “Free Tea” to all contestants who care for tea and such. The committee asks the cooper ation of the hotel and inn keepers in calling the attention of their golf playing guests to this event.
