They have never been South of Cleveland ~ . . . Lucretia DeWitt will do the Big Apple and Susy Q on Friday at Stearns auditorium in Columbus .... Stearns high school students are putting out their own memeograph school paper called the Stearns Broad cast. It is a very interesting little paper .... Selina Lewis, hostess at Thousand Pines Inn has been with the High Hampton Inn at Cashiers this summer .... Got introduced to those new metal cap milk bottles on Saturday. They are nice .... Expressed my preference for the Forestry De partment’s‘green uniform over the Army khaki. There was an ex plosion from Major Sharp. I didn’t talk any more .... And J. N. Jackson, a man who knows figures, states that Hughes did not fly around the world but only around the top of it. It is about 24,000 miles around the world at the equator, whereas Hughes travelled about 14,000 miles George Dillwyn said, “A timely kindness is a double good.” ..... Those Garden club articles in the Bulletin telling about plants and flowers are written by Diana Nash. One appeared yesterday .....
