Some students have already resumed their studies and others wijl fol low in a few days. The University of North Carolina gets the largest number as follows: Alan Calhoun, James Little, Alfred Huger, Anson Merrick, George Aid, Eugene and Frank Turner; other students at tending various colleges and schools are: Faye Sprague, Arlington Hall, Washington, D. Storm over the North Atlantic Ocean Tuesday night prevent clear radio recep tion from European capitals, but it whs interesting to listen within a few minutes immediate reports on what was taking place in all parts of the world . . . Radio broadcast at noon stated that riots and street fighting were breaking out in Czechoslovakia and that the government had increased its mili tary forces .... Word has been received in Tryon that W. B. Weigpl, who has been in Africa, has joined J. Foster Searles at Mahe, Seychelles, an island on the east coast of Africa north of Madagas car. Mr. Searles has been there for several years. Bill plans to stay there this fall and early winter. It is interesting to note how many Tryonites meet in so many far away places.
