Begin Tomorrow
Tenth Grade: On Friday, Sep
tember 16, at twelve o’clock the
Tenth grade of the Tryon high
school will give in the auditorium
the first of the series of class pro
grams given each Friday by the
various grades of the school.
The program- consists of ,a hu
morous skit, “Highlights in Ameri
can History”, followed by Scrip
ture and prayer. All members of
the Junior class are taking part.
The characters are Father Time,

Miss Daisy Foster
Miss Daisy Foster, 25, daughter
of Mrs. Dora Foster, of Tryon,
died Wednesday afternoon at 3:30
at St. Luke’s hospital following
an operation. Funeral services
were held (today) Thursday as

Mrs J. J. Doyle, of San Francisco,
California.
