Loran W. Moore, Jr. and Miss Geraldine Steadman of Inman, S'. C. were married last Wednesday at the Inman First Baptist church parsonage. Mrs. Rachel Slocumb has re turned from an extended visit in South Dakota. She reports that the drouth and insects have ruined crops in that area.. The Ladies’ Circle of the Pres byterian church will meet Wednes day evening at 7:30 at the home of Mrs. J. H. Gaze. Subject is “Prayer in Our Home.” Mrs. Gaze and Mirs. Eiarle Burton will have charge of the program. R. H. Brady, secretary of the Polk County Telephone Co. is at tending the convention of the North Carolina Independent Telephone companies at Southern Pines today and Tuesday. Mrs. Wallace Hoag of High Point spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mfrs- Robert Carruth.
