Miss Rebecca Hoskins, superin tendent of Public Welfare for Polk county was elected secretary of the Western Carolina district as sociation at their meeting in Bre vard on Tuesday. Barring unforseen delays, the new Tryon Theatre will open on Monday evening, December sth.
