Green Greek Gets
Road Improvement
Division Engineer Hugh M.
Noell was in Tryon Friday and
stated that the next objective of
the State Highway Department in
Polk county would be extensive
road improvement in Green’s Creek
section. Plans are under way to
sand and gravel the numerous
roads in Green Creek. A clam
shell has been installed to dip
sand and gravel from the various
creek beds, and within the next
several months miles of roads will
be put Sn first class shape for
travel.
