The Kingdom of God is
within each of us, and at this
time of year the Light within
shines forth in proportion to
our ability, spreading a spirit
of cheerfulness and good will
toward all.
Here in Tryon thousands of
greetings have been mailed to
friends everywhere, and gifts
have been exchanged; but the
Christmas spirit has extended
beyond—to others less fortu
nate. Baskets of food and
gifts of clothing have been
delivered to many families in
this section; individual homes
have decorated their yards
and windows with beautiful
lighted trees for others to see
and enjoy; the business peo
ple of Trade Street have light
ed fourteen large trees to help
