The book is a collec tion of prose and verse which have appeared mostly in Punch, Vogue, Night and Day and Design. The book “bears all the hallmarks which one would expect from one of her name. Thanks to Eugene Turner for a copy of The Shantung Daily News of Novem ber 30th carrying notice of what the paper thinks is the smallest paper in the world published on Thursday Island north of Austra lia. Would like to see a copy of the little paper which depends en tirely on the wireless for its news as there is nothing doing on the island. The little paper has only one advertisement and is printed on one side only. Nelson Masonic Lodge No. 605 will install the following elected officers tonight at the regular meeting of the lodge: Worshipful Master, P. S. White; Senior Warden, Ralph S. Tryon’s Musical Treat Those who have missed the Drama Fortnightly will welcome this unusual opportunity to spend six delightful evenings together listening to good music at the Lanier library. Episcopal Church Meeting Tonight The annual , meeting of the Church of the Holy Cross will be held tonight at 8 o’clock at the Parish House. All members and visitors are invited. Woods Fire Threatens Morris Residence The Tryon fire department was called out around 2 p. m., today when fire in the woods between the highway and the P. G. Morris home jeapordized the building.
