Mrs. Sadie Wood and Mr. Eugene
E. Lewallen were married on Sat
urday afternoon in Spartanburg
by the Rev. Mr. Mullikin, presid
ing elder of the Spartanburg Meth
odist district. Mr. Lewallen is
foreman at the Adams-Millis Cor
poration. He came to Tryon last
year from High Point, N. C. Mrs.
Lewallen has been the owner and
operator of Wood’s Press for sev
eral years. They are making their
home for the present on Godshaw
Hill.
Mrs. Rebecca Early is in St.
Luke’s hospital for treatment of a
broken hip as the result of a fall
last Friday.
