STEARNS MIDGETS DEFEAT TRYON MIDGETS The two Midget basketball teams of Stearns school defeated Tryon Midgets on Tuesday afternoon. These games were return games between the two schools. ! HORSE SHOW PARTIES The following festivities will be held at the time of the Horse Show: Tuesday, April 11, a buffet | supper at 8 o'clock at Sunnydale. j Judges, exhibitors (out-of-town) { and their families will be the ; guests of the Hunt club. Tuesday evening at 9:30 o’clock, the Horse Show Ball, at Oak Hall, open to all, by subscription. Jud ges and out of town exhibitors are the guests of the Hunt club. Wednesday, April 12, the Hunt' club will serve tea and refresh ments immediately after the show, at the Erskine Farm. Judges, ex hibitors and committee members. Wednesday evening, a supper given by Mrs. Margaret Culkin Banning by invitation, for exhibi tors, and personally invited guests. Thursday, April 13, a hunt breakfast, given by Mr. and Mrs. Carter P. Brown to members of the Hunt, judges, out of town ex hibitors and chairmen of com i mittees. i Stearns Primary Grades j Present Health Play Tuesday The Stearns Primary grades of Columbus presented a health play on Tuesday evening at 8 p. m. j “A Day In Healthland" was wit ! nessed by a packed auditorium. The play was in three scenes as follows: “A Child's Healthy Day”, Stecond and Third grades, Black wood and Gibbs; “A School Clinic,” Second and Third Feagan; “The Old Woman In A Shoe”, First grades, Cloud and Edwards.
