. Noted South Carolinian Speaks Here For 50 years Little Blue Box with the United Thank Offering has sent women workers into the fields most in need of the Church’s help, both far and near. Among the 196 workers supported by this offering, Miss Caroline Gillespie in her work in Western North Carolina is so out standing that, on a team with Bishops Kemmerer and Thomas, she has been sent on many speaking tours in the North. This coming Sunday at 11 o’clock at Holy Cross church when this Thank Offering is presented, Miss Gillespie will bring the story of her experiences and a glimpse into what the Church does and means to the dwellers in the isolated mountain districts of our own State.
