Captures Stills; Two Men On Bond Deputy Sheriffs Scoggins, Mel ton and Case invaded Cooper’s Gap mountain section on Friday after noon and captured a steamer style whiskey distillery which was in operation. Clifford Arledge and Garland Corn, were arrested and charged with operating the still. They were released on bond. Taken with the outfit were 650 gallons of beer and 12 gallons of whiskey. The officers also visited Butler mountain section in Columbus township and found a still with 300 gallons of beer. It was a small outfit, but no one was found operating it. The members of the Riding & Hunt club, members of the Horse and Hound Show committees, and the exhibitors are invited to the Erskine farm for refreshments immediatelv after the Horse Show on Wednesday afternoon.
