Public Meeting The public in general is invited to attend the Polk County Boy Scout Court of Honor on Monday evening at 7:30 at the Parish House and see some of the things the Scouts are learning to do. Horse Show News Spartanburg Herald this morn ing reports that .In the Spartan burg show yesterday Olivia Con yers, formerly of Tryon, won first place in the Junior horsemanship class; 800, 11, owned by Carter Brown, and ridden by Austin Brown, took second place in the Junior hunters; Jack Kimberly’s Lindby took fourth plaee. In the pairs of jumpers Lindby ridden by Lee Cowan and Danny D. ridden by George Webster won third place. In the Hunter-hack class Foxy Anne, owned by Carter Brown and ridden by Austin Brown took second place. The second day of the show is being held today.
