The Fourth comes on Tuesday this year and will not interfere with the merchants and clerks. It is a good time to invite people from all over the county. Don’t be bashful. If you are in terested speak up and say how much you will give toward buying fireworks and lemonade . . . Mrs. C. W. New News News while it is still news, but moving news, too, is Manager Charles Nessmith’s latest achieve ment for the Tryon Theatre. By special arrangement the Pathe Newsreel office in New" York will send a film direct from their lab oratory to Tryon every Thursday as soon as it is made. The films will reach Tryon on the Friday af ternoon trains just a few hours later than a similar film is being shown in New York. After being viewed in Tryon Friday, Satur day and Sunday the' film will be sent to Charlotte for* * showing there. Mr. Nessmith says you get results when you “Try-on”, and he is proud of the fact that Tryon is pnly a few hours 'behind New York. County Tour June 10 The regular yearly Garden club Pilgrimage for the county women will take place on Saturday, June 10th.
