Inman, S.C., July 13.—A watch,
lost nine years ago, has been re
turned to Marvin Jackson of In
man.
Vi nen a group was discussing
watches here, a man pulled a watch
out of his pocket and offered it
for inspection. Jackson thought
he recognized the timepiece and
asked to see it.
The watch was the one given to
him by his grandfather and valued
as a heirloom. In the back of
the watch case was his grand
father’s initials.
The man, returning the watch to
Jackson, said one of his sons had
found the time piece several years
ago in the roalroad tracks.
