4-H SHORT COURSE The following boys and girls from Polk county are in Raleigh tms week attending the State 4-H Club Short Course: Parintha Pack, Jeanette Holbert, Mary Sue Bish op and Virginia Egerton represent the girls; while Boyd Swain, Allen Arledge, W. D. Hines, Jr., and Clarence Scoggins represent the boys. Messrs. Swain and Arledge will compete in the State 4-H Dairy Demonstration Contest and Miss Egerton will serve as one of the dormitory counselors for the girls. The group is accompanied by Miss Minnie Lee Garrison, home demonstration agent and S. H. Dobson, assistant county agent. Each county in the state is rep resented at the Short Course and provides a wonderful opportunity for meeting and making friends as well as the valuable course and programs offered for all. FARM AND HOME WEEK Mesdames Reva Jolley, of Pea Ridge; J. S. Wagner, Peniel; J. M. Swain, T. J. McDowell of Green Creek and Henry Thompson, Mi 1 Spring will attend Farm and Home Week at State College, July 31st to August 4th.
