Roosevelt To Dedicate Park In October Washington, July 31- —. After consulting with members of the White House staff, Representative Weaver (D., N. C.)» said today that President Roosevelt would go to Asheville early in October and drive to Newfound gap for the dedication of the Great Smoky Mountains National park. The Western North Carolina con gressman said that since the presi dent could not dedicate the park early in the summer as originally planned he thought it wise to have the ceremony in the fall.
