Football Friday
The Tryon-Saluda football team
thrill play its second game of the
on Friday, Sept. 29th, at
Harmon Field. The Spartanburg
Reserves will furnish the oppo
sition and from all indications, the
locals will have their hands full.
This game should draw a large
crowd of spectators. The Tryon-
Saluda team has been busy this
week ironing out the rough spots
which showed up in the game last
week. Due to intense scrimmage,
the line ought to be improved in
their charging and blocking. The
back field no doubt will have a
better running game.

Communications
The improvements on the grounds

ject of much favorable comment,
is nearing completion.
The officers and grounds com
mittee of the club wish to express
their appreciation of the many

if some one’s, name has been

rectify any errors or failures in
acknowledgement.
