j Just (Telephone ) 20 2 Owen’s Pharmacy “The Prescription Store” Boy Scout News The Boy Scouts of Troop No. 1 met Thursday night at which time plans were made for new and better patrols. We also made plans about preparing better merit badges and advancements for the Courts of Honor for the coming year. After the meeting the boys played softball in the gymnasium. Twenty-four boys were present. They were: Robert Andrews, Burrell Byers, James Camp, Prank Wall, Holland Brady, Harold Taylor, Dickey Ar thur, Jimmy Jackson, Bill Derby, Jimmy Baker, Royal Ford, Lee Coon, Nathan Moore, Tommy Cook sey, Brock Henry, Paul Butler, Marion Edwards, Marvin Edwards, Lock McGeaehy, Prank MfcFar land, Spurgeon Arledge, George Cooksey, Ellis Kuykendall, David Cromer. Only five were absent: Seth Vining, Tom Melton, Harrison Bridgeman, Bobby Dick and Pick ens Durham. This made a total roll of twenty nine, with twenty-four present. —Scout, Holland Brady. ENOLA ORMAND IS WED TO GLENN FOSTER Columbus, Sept. 27.—Miss Enola Ormand of Columbus, and Glenn Foster, of Tryon, were married in a ceremony Saturday night at Columbus. Mrs. Foster is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, W. A. Ormand, of Columbus, and Mr. Foster is the son of Mrs. Ella Foster and the late George Foster of Saluda. He is employed at the Adams-Millis corporation at Tryon—Spartanburg Herald. Miss Dorcas Bledsoe of Win ston-Salem is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Millikin. TRYON MOTOR CO.
