Therefore, one woman is certain to win even if all the men turn in better guesses .... Social Council Met On Tuesday At a meeting of the Council of Social Agencies held in Massil dine s Hall Tuesday at 4:15 p. m., with Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln pre siding, reports were received from the Helping Hand, the American [ Woman’s Hospitals,' the Depart ment of Public Welfare, the De | partment-of Public Health, the 4-H j club work, and the American Red j Cross. Rev. W. P. Jackson was united by unanimous vote to be come a member of the Council and in case of acceptance, to be chair man of a committee on recreation. It was announced that Mrs. Ina j Tyler, Superintendent of Public Welfare was preparing a master list of persons eligible to receive Christmas baskets.
