Arthur Lincoln, died at home of Rev. and Mrs. C. A. on Melrose avenue at mid night, December- 1, after a brief illness. The funeral services will be held in the Erskine Memorial church of which Mrs. 'Green was a member Sunday afternoon, Dec. 8, at 3 p. m., with Rev. Charles G. Sewall and Dr. George Farrand Taylor assisting Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln, pastor of the church. The family requests that flowers be omitted. _ Mrs. Green, born in Port Eliot, Australia, MJav 27, 1856. was the daughter of M}r. and Mrs. Joseph Barton. She lived during her young girlhood in Port Eliot and then went with her parents on their return to their former home in a suburb of London, England. Later the family moved to Kings ton, Ontario, where M!iss Barton S'as married to Alfred Wi. Green t Hartford, Conn., November 19, 880, by tile Rev. Dr. Samuel N. Jackson, pastor of the Congre gational church, Kingston, and father of the Rev. W. P. Jackson now of Tryon. Practically all of her married life was spent in Hartford, Conn., where her husband at one time was city editor of the Hartford Courant and later an electrical contractor. On his retirement from business, Mr. and Mrs. Green made their home with Dr. and Mrs. Lincoln in Daytona Beach, Fla., and Mr. Green died there February 10, 1927.
