C., SATURDAY, DEC. 23, 1939 Car Reported Stolen From Local Filling Station The 1936 Ford sedan of Sam Green way of the Green’s Creek sec jgAtion of Polk county was reported early last night from a local filling station where it had been parked by the owner. The car bore 1946 N. C. license plates and was minus rear bumpers. Green way reported the alleged theft to Patrolman Miller who has con tacted Asheville and Raleigh head quarters of the highway patrol in an effort to locate the auto. If There A Santa Glaus?
