Duke Invites Farmers
To See New Equipment
Electric equipment for the farm
such as brooders, water heaters,
poultry warmers, soil heating
equipment, hammer mills, fly elec
trocutors and other farm electri
cal appliances will be on display
at the Duke Power Company office
on Friday and Saturday of this
week. Manager K. A. Bowen says
“all farmers and anyone interested
in modern farm equipment are in
vited to drop in and see these
new instruments/’
Chamber of Commerce
reets Tonight
The members of the Tryon
Chamber of Commerce will meet
tonight at 7:30 at Missildine’s
Hall.
Costa’s daffodil field is now in
full bloom on the Howard Gap
road. Mfr. Costa invites the pub
lic to visit his gardens. Flowers
are being cut every day and shipped
to Cleveland, Ohio.
