SHELNUTT FREE The State Supreme Court meet ing in Raleigh on Wednesday hand ed down an opinion in the State Vs. Shelnutt case which reversed the verdict in the Polk County Superior Court. The effect of the decision is to set aside the verdict whereby Shelnutt was convicted of forgery and sentenced to three years in prison. Miss Ellen Holt of Lake Forest. 111., has arrived at her Tryon home on Piney Mountain and has as guests her brother, Arthur Holt and daughter, Miss Jeannette Holt, of Oconto, Wis., and a friend, Miss Minnie M.
