Cheney of Asheville, the railroad engines passing thru Tryon are soft pedaling the sound of their whistles; and now gently warn traffic that trams are cross ing the streets without arousing the neighborhood from its peaceful slumber. Gone With The Wind Going Tonight Manager C. W. C., April 9.—80 y Scout and Cub leaders from the States of North and South Caro lina, Georgia and Florida, will gather hetre Tuesday, April 16th, for the annual meeting of Region 6, Boy Scouts of America, at the Poinsett Hotel. The meeting will start at 10:15 o’clock on Tuesday morning with a business session, and close Tuesday night with a banquet meeting. Arthru Schuck, National Director of the Division of Operations, of the Boy Scouts of America, and Stanley A. Harris, National Director on Inter-Racial Activities, from New York City, and W. A. Dobson, Regional Ex ecutive from Atlanta, Ga., together with other outstanding leaders of the Sbutheast, will be on the program.
