Tennis Tournament
Next Week .
The annual spring Men’s Tennis
Tournament at the Tryon Country
Club will be held next week. Mens’
singles contests will be held for
the J. C. Kimberly trophy; and
Men’s doubles matches will be
played for the Lightner and Crapo
trophies.
Those interested in getting in the
tournament should notify John L.
Washburn by Sunday, if possible.
Bacon Diocesan

Senator F. P. Bacon, Senior War
den of the Church of the Holy
Cross in Tryon, who attended the
Western North Carolina Episcopal
Diocese convention at Vel’e Crusis
this week, was elected a Diocesan
delegate to the General convention
which meets in Kansas City in
the fall.
