Missildine’s Pharmacy Gamp Sidney Busy This Summer Camp Sidney on Lake Lanier, is a busy place this summer. It is drawing young people from the states of Florida, Georgia, Ten nessee, Virginia, North and South Carolina. Directed by George James, assistant principal of the Union, S. C., high school the camp is operated the first two weeks of the season for the benefit of the young boys of Union and the sec ond two weeks for girls of Union. During the next two months the camp is leased to various groups all over the southeast. On Wed nesday morning about 50 young girls of the Laurinburg, N. C., Presbyterian church will have the camp for a week. They will be un der the direction of M ! iss Marian Burgess. Beginning on July 23rd about 50 young people of a Char lotte Methodist church will spend a month at the camp. These boys and girlj, will be under the direc tion of Mr. Patrick, young peo ple’s leader of the church. Mr. and M|rs. W. C. Ward had as guests during the weekend at their Edneyville summer home, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Furr of Marion, Va., Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Beaver and Bill Ward, Jr., of China Grove, N. C.
