M. Walker Funeral services for the Rev. John M. Walker, 70, retired Bap §tist minister who died Sunday flight at his home in Boiling Springs, N. C., were conducted at 11 o’clock on Tuesday at the Boiling Springs Baptist church by the Rev. J. L Jenkins. Mr. Walker was well known in Spartanburg, having led Baptist pastorates at Beaumont and Ark wright and also others in near-by • towns. Survivors include his wife, Mfs. Alice Jackson Walker; and two sons. Carey Walker and Wister Walker. —Spartanburg Herald. Mr. Walker was well known in Polk County.
