Hit By Train
Frank Gosnell, about 22, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lem Gosnell, was
found early this morning lying in
a ditch near the railroad track
*T:est of Tryon. He had a severe
wound, but was conscious
when found. Frank had started
home after 10:30 Friday night.
One shoe, a flash light and hand
kerchief were found strewed along
the track, indicating that Frank
had probably sat down and pulled
off his shoe and was hit by a
train. He was still conscious this
morning at St. Luke’s hospital.
BURRELL UNDER BOND
ON ASSAULT CHARGES

man, posted boud of SSOO before
Magistrate J. A. Burns of Colum
bus Township early this week for
his appearance at the August term
of Superior Court to face charges
of “assault with a deadly weapon”.
The warrant was issued by Mag
istrate Burns and signed by Sher-
W. D. Hines.
The charges gew out of alleged
injuries to Mtelvin Hines, son of
Sheriff Hines when Melvin was
arrested by Burrell on Trade street
early this year. Young Hines was
confined to St. Luke’s hospital for
treatment for several days.

The sale was made thru C. J.
Lynch. Mr. and Mrs. Costa are
building a home on land reserved
when they sold their house to Leslie
L. Savage of New Jersey.
