R. F. McLeod is the new man
ager at the Tryon Farmers Fed
eration, having been transferred
from the Fletcher warehouse. Mr.
McLeod is married and has three
daughters, Barbara, 7; Dorothy, 4;
and IVLarilyn, one year old. Mr.
and Mrs. McLeod expect to move
to Tryon next week. They are
members of the Methodist church.
Miss Elizabeth Thackston, who
is taking a special civil service
course at Cecil’s Business college
in Spartanburg, i s spending the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Isham
Henderson.
Mrs. H. C. Mtetcalf and Miss
Sara Rion left this morning for a
visit / in Chicago.
