Arrested for Speeding Raleigh, Nov. 4.—Speeding again last month topped all reported convictions of moving traffic viola tions in North Carolina, the High way Safety Division reported to day. Always an event in the life of Tryon, this meeting will be one of unusual interest. Old members, returning to the “home center” will note many improvements in house and grounds, attesting the 1 fact that the faithful friends and promoters of the Library have had a busy summer. New members will be welcomed. James Dawson, our guest speak has already become a Tryonite by adoption, through his radio talks on station WFBC. Those who have enjoyed starting the day with his pleasant “good morning” and thoughtful digest of the world’s news, will look forward with keep interest to hearing him in person. He is a writer of ex perience, and a student of foreign affairs, one who has travelled ex tensively with an alert and open mind. Moreover he interprets world events from a back-ground of history, a habit of mind that sets him apart in the list of com mentators. School of Religion Is Postponed A Day The School of Religion held ev ery Tuesday at the Tryon First Baptist church, has been post poned one day later to Wednesday night at .7:30, according to the Registrar, the Rev.
