Announcements have been re
ceived in Tryon inviting art lovers
to the Quest Art Galleries in
Chicago from November 22 to
December 14, to see an exhibition
of oil and water color paintings
by Edward H. Bennett, noted
Chicago architect. The paintings
are to be sold for the benefit of
the Allied War Relief. Mr. Ben
nett spends much of each winter
bgjtryon and owns a large tract of
the Hunting Country where
much of his painting, as
indicated by the titles of the pic
tures on exhibit. There is the
La Morte Hill and House, The
Flynp Stables, La Morte Hill In
Spring, Rolling Country, Riding to
Hounds, Hunt Country, Junior
Horse Show, Near Pine Crest Inn,
Old Pine, Piney Mountain, Hog
back and Old Shed.
