panionship in service to humanity.
This spirit of Tryon knows no
boundary lines. From all parts of
the county it goes to help the
suffering, to cooperate with the
worthy in rehabilitating them
selves, to foster their community
activities and to lend a helping
han.j in many ways. This Tryon
spirit goes beyond Polk County
into the flooded areas of the na
tion, to the suffering in China, to
aid of the war stricken in Fin
land and England. It knows no
boundary lines. This good work
and spirit is made possible by the
contiftued interest and support of
these friends of Tryon scattered
all over the nation. They built
St. Luke’s hospital, wiped off the
indebtedness on Harmon Field,
keep the Country Club going,
built community Houses in the
County and hundreds of other
things. They built them not for
themselves alone to enjoy but for
all people of kindred spirit. There
are no boundary lines.
