Brown John Nelson Brown, 60, promi nent farmer of the Tigerville sec tion of Greenville County died at his home on Landrum Route 2, at 6:30 o’clock Sunday morning fol lowing an illness of two weeks. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Hattie Barnette; one son, Paul Brown and one daugh ter, Mrs. Lois Hall, three grand children, Dewey Hall, Shirley and Charles Brown; two brothers, J. E. and Dennis Brown, all of Landrum, Route 2. Mr. Brown was a life-long resi dent of the Tigerville community, and for the past 28 years was superintendent of the Sunday school at the Ebenezer Welcome Baptist church. Funeral services will be con ducted at the Ebenezer Welcome church at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Broad us Belue, Rev. G V. Smith, Rev. W. S.
