MELTON Robert R. Melton, 67, well known farmer of Mill Spring sec tion died Thursday afternoon at his home. Funeral services \yill be held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at Silver Creek Baptist church with the Rev. Malcolm Ross officiating. The deceased is survived by his widow and one brother, Jonas Melton; and the following chil dren: Jim Melton of Try on, Mrs. Sophie Melton Pack of Tryon R-l, Pink and Bob Melton of Wcllford, S. C., Mrs. Janie Melton Walker of Welford, Mrs. Della Mae Melton Pair of Tryon R-l, Mrs. Lillie Belle Melton Laughter, Luther Melton, Mrs. Hattie Melton Toney and Mrs. Vannie Melton Screven.
