C., visited Brown hurst Farms Monday to inspect the milking 1 shorthorn herd. They selected one of the young regis tered bulls from the herd, Brown hurst Gift, for use on their farm where they are developing a herd of milking shorthorn cattle. They also bought two feedei steers of the same breed to turn onto their blue grass pasture this spring. They have a farm of over 500 acres and are going into the cattle business in a rather large way. They state they have faith in the possibilities of this section for livestock. 1 Miss Hortense Pedraja has re turned to St. Luke’s hospital for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hamilton have returned to Pauline, S. C., after a visit with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs C. J. Lynch have returned from a visit to Colum bia, S.
