Frigidaire Ranges and Refrigerators AVANT ELECTRIC Company Mrs. Naomi Jones of Mill Spring is a patient at St. Luke’s hospital. Rev. B. G. Henry, pastor of the Tryon First Baptist church left today for Concord, N. C., to join the Baptist State Sunday School forces in Cabarrus County during the enlargement and enlistment campaign. Mr. Henry will teach and preach. During his absence the Tryon pulpit will be filled by Dr. E. E. Bomar, a former pastor of the church. Charles Green has returned to Mill Spring after treatment at St. Luke’s hospital. Miss Mary Gamble is spending the weekend at Anderson, S. C.. with Miss Elisabeth Watson at her home. After a visit at Sarasota and Ft. Myers, Fla., on Friday C. H. Helms and the Mayors’ Tour are spending the weekend in Miami and Miami Beach. James Rion of Kingsport, Tenn., is spending the weekend with his mother, Mrs. J. H. Rion. John W. Newton. Jr., and M. C. Chandler, Jr., of Mill Spring have enlisted in the army at Spartanburg and will be stationed at the army air training school at Panama City, Fla. THE BULLETIN—6 months sl.
