SSO FOR HARMON FIELD
FROM CQCA-COLA CO.
February 19, 1941.
Dear Mr. Vining:
We noticed in the Daily Bulle
tin a few days ago an appeal for
funds for improvements at Har
mon Field, stating that it was
not a town owned proposition and
therefore, it was necessary that
funds be raised to make these im
provements.
We are enclosing our check as
a subscription for this purpose
as we feel that Harmon Field is
an institution worthy of Tryon
and Polk County and we would
like to have a share in this wor
thy project.
We will appreciate it if you
will pass this check on to the
proper authorities.

At a meeting of the Merchants

decided to adopt a credit bureau

they trade with local merchants
but when they trade with anyone
anywhere. The customer’s name
listed with a Grade “A” rating
will be of value to him and to the
merchants.
