C., SATURDAY, FEB. 22, 1941 TRYON HIGH DEFEATS SUNNY VIEW 46 TO 15 The Tryon high basketball five, playing almost faultless basket ball, had little trouble in subduing the Sunny View outfit Friday night at the Tryon gym. The local team got off to a flying start and racked up 12 points in the first quarter while the visitors were getting two. For the Tryon team, McFarland was outstand ing in scoring 20 points while Jackson gave one of the best ex hibitions of guarding seen yet on the local court. The Sunny View players had C. Wilson as a spear head to keep them in the game. Line-ups:: Tryon (46) —McFarland ,20; Jackson, 7; Vining, 6: Melton, 3; Taylor, 6; Beatson, 2; Baker, 0; Byers 2.
