C., SATURDAY, MARCH 8,1941 Health Examinations Dr. Herbert Hudgins announces that the Health Department will be holding pre-school clinics ,at \the various schools during the coming weeks. Parents with chil dren who are to attend school next year will be notified thru the school of their community as to the exact day and time for their clinic. This is a service offered to all the pre-school children and par ents are urged to come and bring their children. It will include an examination of the child with suggestions as to correction of de fects and immunization against diphtheria and smallpox;. It is much better that these things be attended to before the child goes to school. There are many chil dren who would achieve a much more successful school record were their health better. Columbus, Sunny View, Tryon and Saluda In Games Tonight Four communities will be rep resented in the Polk Countv Basketball Tournament tonight at the Tryon gymnasium when the Saluda hieh school girls will play the Sunny View girls. The Stearns boys will play the Tryon boys. The girls’ game start at 7:30. Masons Meet Monday The. Jeff L. Nelson Masonic will meet on Monday night at 8 o’clock for its regular ses sion.
