The Greeks continue to win against Continued on Back Page Honor Court On Monday For Boy Scouts The Polk County Boy Scouts Court of Honor will be held on Monday night at 7:30 at the Par ish House assisted by the Scout Executive R. M. Stehiele. Tryon Boy Scout Troop No. 1 will meet tonight at the school. Captain Zogbaum Speaker At Rotary On Friday Capt. Rufus Zogbaum, U. S. N., retired, will be the chief speaker at the Rotary club lun cheon on Friday at 1 p. m., at Shnnydale. His subject will be The Navy. America’s’ First Line of Defense. Coach M. B. Cald well, former Annapolis student, will be in charge; of the program. P.-T. A. Meets Monday The Tryon Parent-Teacher As sociation will meet on Monday af ternoon at 3:30 at which time the Tryon-Saluda band will give a concert. DOG SHOW SATURDAY Plans for the annual Dog Show at Harmon Field are being com pleted and a large number of entries will assure an afternoon of entertainment for all dog lovers, says Capt. Rufus Zogbaum, the director of the show. Visiting Minister At Church of Holy Cross Rev. Mark Jenkins, rector of Fletcher Calvary Episcopal church will conduct the Friday after noon service at the Church of the Holy Cross in Tryon at 5 o’clock. Public invited.
