The third annual Tryon Junior Horsemanship show, was held on Friday afternoon at the Newmark et ring, under the direction of Mrs. David Hedekin and Miss Tony Wick. Picks Nichols, ex master of fox hounds of Bloom field, Mich., Mrs. James Black wood and Fred S. Ford, both of Detroit, were the judges. The judges secretaries were Miss Betty Mead of Lake Forest, 111., and Miss Pat Ferneding of Milwaukee, Wis. The winners are as follows: Class I—Beginning horseman ship: Tommy Carpenter of Crys tal Bay, Minn., first; Molly Wash burn of Tryon, second; Franklin D. Nanny of Tryon, third; and Laura Nanny of Tryon, fourth. Class 2—Advanced horseman ship for children 8 to 11 years— Nina Carpenter of Crystal Bay, first; Barbara Golding of Lake Forest, 111., second; Barbara Loughran of Asheville, third; and Dolly Loughran of Asheville, fourth.
