Poem, This is Clean Up Week; songs, Street-Sweeper Man; Oh, This is Clean Up Week. Directed by Mrs. Eunice Watson. Second Grade: “Dutch Songs”. In Holland; Windmills; Tulips; Wooden Shoes. Directed by Miss Addie Daniel. Third Grade: “Poems by Eu gene Field.” Little Boy Blue; The Duel. Directed by Mrs. D. M. Mc- Geachy. Third Grade: Dance, Waltz song, Anchors Aweigh; mm ap Dance. Directed by Mrs. M. B. Caldwell. GOLF RESULTS Sixteen players entered the two-ball mixed foursome tourna ment at the Tryon Country Club on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Phipps with a score of 42-5-37 tied for first place with Mrs. S. H. Rollins and Nel son Jackson, Jr., with a score of 44-7-37. Mr. and Mirs. M. B. Flynn were second with a score of 47-8-39. A large number of guests enjoyed the tea at the Club house following the tourna ment. TRYON, N. Garland MfcKinley Goble, Gas tonia, N. C. Henry Irvin Jennings, 108 M'em minger St., Greenville, S. C. Elmer Payne, Tryon, N. C. Julian B. Hester, chairman Polk County Local Board No. 1, says: “Failure to keep the Board in formed of proper address is pun ishable under the Selective Ser vice Law by fine and imprison ment. Unless the above men con tact the Local Board by April 25th, 1941, their names will be turned over to the U. S. District Attorney as suspected delinquents and their cases will be investi gated by the F. B. I. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of any cf the above men, please commu nicate at once with the Local Board No. 1.” CYNWOOD’S HARMONY The cocker puppy donated by Mr. and Mrs. James R. Trow bridge to the Harmon Field build ing fund has netted $57.25. The owner erf the dog will be announc ed Monday night between the first and second shows at Tryon Thea tre.
