CURB REPORTER CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE.— indifference? Well what about the people whoi put the program on? They are called on to put forth extra effort to entertain you, they must take the initiative and push other people to do things for their own good. So when there is a tea, a golf tour nament, little theatre meeting, or flower show for the community we can let the spirit of cooperation, that inspiring sense of loyalty, persuade us to take the necessary steps to attend the functions, and thus show our appreciation of the work being done by the various committees. How would you like to have the thing reversed and the spmmittee workers go on a strike and say you do the work if you want community work done, search your own brain for ideas, roll up your sleeves and work, dig into your own pockets for the cash. We will not even attend the thing. We are going out of town, or read a book. Os course if some of these things are offen sive to you, no one can blame you. This appeal is only to the indif ferent, to the fellow who wants these things done, but who is willing for the other fellow to do all the work even to attendance. Please let community loyalty per suade you to go to the community things when you are in doubt and it will pay big dividends to you and to the community BONDS ON SALE SOON .
