WELCOME WINS CLOSE
GAME OVER TRYON
A heavy orange and black team
frcm Welcome high of Greenville
took to the air in the closing
minutes of the first half and
garnered six points which proved
the winning margin of the game.

boned squad to Harmon Field
with one 119 scat-back who scamp
ered arcund almost unstoppable.
This man is small enough to play

team where incidentally most of
last year’s team played their first

Tryon out of several tight spots.
The Welcome team had a good
running attack coupled with a
passing game which kept the locals
on their toes. The only tally of
the game was made in the last
minute of the first half when
from the fifty yard stripe a pass
