Miss Hill Married In Little Church Around the Corner Tuesday afternoon, October 21st at 5:30 p. m., in the Church of the Transfiguration, better known as the Little Church Around the Corner, in New York City, Miss Barbara Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Hill of Tryon, North and Saginaw, Michigan, became the bride of Mr. David Cecil Walter Charters of Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, Dr. J. H. Randolph Ray officiating. The bride was attend ed by Miss Betty White of Clark’s Summit, Pennsylvania, and the groom by Dr. Thorwald Lyngholm of Lynbrook, Long Island, N. Y. The - bride wore a light weight wool suit of robin’s egg green. A geld feather toque with brown snood of veiling, gold suede gloves and a spray of pale green and white orchids. The maid-of-honor wore a dusty blue crepe dress backed with seal brown velvet toque combining beige, dusty blue and wine color, beige doe skin gloves and a spray of pale pink orchids. Following the ceremony, attend ed by about seventy, a reception was held at the Savoy-Plaza. A dinner was served later to the bridal party and relatives in the Persian Room of the Plaza Hotel. After the wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Charters will return to Ber muda and make their home in Somerset.
