MARSHALL 13; TRYON 6
Tryon lost to Marshall Friday
at Marshall by a score of 13 to
6. Marshall had a line plunge
|offensive which gained two touch
-downs. An extra point was made
by a place kick.
The Tryon team was net as
fast as usual due to the type of
field which they were not accus
tomed to playing on. Tryon
scored in the opening minutes when
McGeachy blocked a kick and
Baker fell on the ball in the end
zone.
Rector of Marshall and Jack
Meltcn of Tryon were the outstand
ing players. Line plunges by
Beatson of Tryon was also out
standing.—Marvin Edwards.
