The Saluda school makes the
following report for funds col
lected for the Junior Red Cross.
First grade 50c; second grade 50c;
third, 50c; fourth, 55c; fifth, 50c;
sixth, $1.70; seventh, sl.ll. The
high school, $1.55, making a total
of $6.91.
The sixth grade published a
newspaper, the proceeds from
which went to their grade for the
Junior Red Cress. Through ads
and the sale of the paper, plus
pennies brought in by the children,
the grade was able to turn in a
total of $1.70.
Saluda basketball teams
rnet the Rosman teams on Tues
day night, November 25th, for
the first game of the season on
the home court. It was a com
plete victory for the Saluda teams:
Girls’ score—Saluda, 37; Ros
man, 20.
Boys’ score —Saluda, 21; Ros
man, 11.
The Saluda P.-T. A. will hold the
next meeting in the school audi
torium on Thursday evening, Dec.
4, at 7:30. A Christmas pageant
will be given in which a number
of children from the different
grades will take part.
